James’ interest in biological sciences and his affinity towards animals made Veterinary Medicine the most natural career path for him to follow. After completing a Bachelors in Biology and Chemistry at the University of Malta, he left the islands to pursue a degree in Veterinary Medicine in Hungary. Following graduation, James settled in the UK, working in busy practices as a small animal vet, while gaining valuable experience in the field. James enjoys the challenging nature of the job and the rewarding aspect of being able to help animals and their humans. James is working towards a post graduate specialisation in small animal surgery with the University of Chester. In his free time James enjoys cooking, playing the guitar (badly), urban gardening and spending time with his girlfriend, family and friends.
